Dictyonema sericeum. (Sw.) Berk.
Most Lichenized fungi belong to Ascomycetes, but this fan-shaped one is a basidiomycetous lichen with cyanobacterial photobionts. In Japan, it grows on rocks in humid places such as gorges in the warm-temperate and subtropic zones. / Photo by H.Harada; Kii Peninsula, Wakayama-ken, central Japan, 450 m elev., 14 July 2009.
